massive market opportunity
The Power Meter Market was US$0.59Bn in 2018…that’s a significant market. Our research suggests that less that 2% of cyclists own a power meter, with a lot of potential buyers put off by expensive and difficult to fit power meters on the market. These existing power meters are not easily compatible between bikes.
There is a massive demand for an affordable and straightforward bicycle power meter that is 100% compatible with all bicycles.
limits technology is the best placed company to dominate the market
The LIMITS Power Meter design is simple yet ingenious, by combining state of the art hardware, with intelligent software and an original and inventive approach.
Limits Technology have a superb product that fits all bikes and all budgets.
This makes Limits Technology uniquely place to dominate the power meter market.
Being in such a strong position, we believe we are best place to be the market leader, following the launch of our Generation 2 LIMITS Power Meter.
we have the product, expertise and passion to deliver
We are proud of our product and of our people who helped design and manufacture the LIMITS Power Meter.
We have matured as a company and brought fresh talent and passion into the team, so we are ready for our Global Lanch.
tax benefits are available to uk investors
There are two key, and very generous, tax breaks to look for when it comes to investing on Crowdcube. Both of which can be ‘carried back’ to the previous tax year.
EIS – Enterprise Investment Scheme
The Enterprise Investment Scheme is designed to help smaller, higher-risk companies raise finance by offering tax relief on new shares in those companies that qualify. For the investor, it’s a tax efficient way to invest in small companies.
The EIS is aimed at the wealthier, sophisticated investors. People can invest up to £1,000,000 in any tax year and receive 30% tax relief. However, they are locked into the scheme for a minimum of three years. EIS seeks to encourage investment into unlisted companies, just like the ones featured here.
SEIS – Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme
SEIS is an incredibly generous derivative of the Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) and was introduced in April 2012. Its aim is to encourage seed investment in early stage companies. Investors, including directors, can receive initial tax relief of 50% on investments up to £100,000 and Capital Gains Tax (CGT) exemption for any gains on the SEIS shares.
The maximum amount to be raised for each company is £150,000.
